If you're like most of us, chances are you've had a few yeast
infections over the years. Unfortunately, you might be in that small
percentage of individuals who are at risk and suffer from recurrent
yeast infections month after month… constantly battling symptoms
that can range from yeast infection bumps, skin rashes, severe itching and even partial memory loss.
Some of the symptoms, such as chronic depression, can actually be life threatening.
Wouldn't you like to know why you suffer from these continuous infections?
First, look at the treatment you're using. Are you treating the actual
causes of recurrent yeast infections? Probably not. You're probably just treating the symptoms.
"So, just how do you treat the causes of recurrent yeast infections?"
Use a Natural Remedy Only to Treat Recurrent Yeast Infections
Instead of treating the symptoms, you should be concentrating on the balance of bacteria and
fungi in your body. This sounds complicated, but it's really not.
The team here at Go Women's Health has found some excellent natural treatments for
yeast infections that do just that, and the really good news is this: the same natural
treatment that works for the occasional yeast infection, will also work for
recurrent yeast infections. It's true; you don't have to do anything out
of the ordinary. That's what is so great about using a natural
remedy. It restores the natural balance of bacteria and yeast, or fungi if you will,
throughout your entire body. Then it's just a simple matter of maintaining this balance.
Here is a Natural Remedy to Eliminate Recurrent Yeast Infections
The following video gives a step-by-step plan on the natural
treatment for yeast infections.
I would like to thank Hethir for taking the time to make that
video. You can see she is giving us a natural remedy anyone can
work with and it's not as "wild" as some herbalist recommend.
But, in all fairness, this natural remedy could get expensive and it
might not be the easiest plan to follow. In addition, you have to decide
if this natural treatment meets your particular needs. The end result or goal of any plan should
be the following: how to eliminate yeast infections safely, easily and without any over the counter drugs or prescription drugs.
The Bottom Line for Ending Your Recurrent Yeast Infections
What if Heathir's plan is not for you? Well, since there are so many different
natural remedies out there, a few good and most bad, you might be better off to
visit a medical library, do some research, interview specialists and develop your
own plan. But remember, a good natural remedy will restore the balance of bacteria and fungi throughout
your body. It will eliminate the symptoms you are experiencing and will work
on any type of yeast infection.
So, we know recurrent yeast infections are a problem and the symptoms can be dangerous.
We know that drugs are not the answer, and nobody wants to endure
the pain and suffering of recurrent yeast infections. Plus, we know the same
natural treatment that works for the occasional yeast infection, will also
work for recurrent yeast infections. We watched an excellent video
on the natural treatment of yeast infections that points us in the right
direction. And finally, if Hethir's plan is not for you, then
do some research, have some patience and you'll develop your own personal plan
that's just right for you… and there's nothing wrong with that.
Best of Luck,

Yeast Infection Test Helps in Early Diagnosis
Simple Water Test Can Detect Candida Fungi, Thrush and Vaginal Yeast Infections
Many individuals have symptoms that might appear to be a yeast infection,
but in reality, it's not a yeast infection at all. For example, you might have a
recurring U.T.I. and mistakenly think it is a recurrent yeast infection. Or, you
might not have any symptoms whatsoever and still have a yeast infection. But, before you run out
and pay for a test or visit the doctor, you can take this simple home test that helps detect
yeast infections with a fairly high percentage of accuracy (not 100% accurate).
NOTE: Testing positive will help guide you in your decision
making process. If you have any doubts please make an appointment
with your physician.
Step 1
Before you go to bed, pour yourself a glass of water and only fill it half way up.
Make sure the glass is actually "glass," not plastic. You need to be able to see through
the glass. Any type of water should work, but distilled water or boiled water might be more accurate.
Step 2
Place the glass of water on your night stand or in the bathroom, or a place where you will
see it first thing in the morning just to remind you.
Step 3
In the morning and before you have put anything in your mouth, move your tongue around
vigorously and get some saliva built up in your mouth.
Step 4
Now, just spit into the glass of water and try to place your saliva in the middle of the glass.
Final Step
Now wait for 15 - 30 minutes. If the saliva has stayed up on top of the water,
chances are you do not have Candida fungi, yeast infection or thrush. However, if
you look through the side of the glass and there happens to be tentacles (kind of looks like strings)
coming down from your saliva, or if the water has turned kind of cloudy with little specs floating
in the middle of the water, or if your saliva has sank to the bottom of the glass,
there is a good chance you are infected with the Candida fungi and have an overgrowth
of yeast or a thrush infection.
Once you have determined whether or not you have a yeast infection, you may then
take the appropriate actions necessary. Hopefully, your test is negative and you won't
have to do anything. And that's the best possible outcome, wouldn't you say?
Coping With Recurrent Yeast Infections
Recurrent Yeast Infections are Difficult But, You can Beat It!
Yeast infections are bad enough, but having to cope with recurrent yeast infections
is even worse. Male or female, it doesn't matter. The pain, itching and burning can
drive anyone crazy. Oh, it's easy enough to solve. Head on down to the
nearest drug store, buy some over the counter medicine and poof, relief in just a few days.
But, does that really solve the problem? If you suffer from recurrent
yeast infections then you know the answer to that question is no.
You have been down that road before only to have the yeast infection
return in just a few weeks.
If we look at this medication closely, we could probably conclude
there is a problem with the OTC's and even the prescription drugs. The simple
truth is they are man-made. What these artificial drugs do is eliminate
the symptoms like itching, yeast infection bumps and burning, but only temporarily
and the real cause is totally overlooked. Not to mention the resistance a recurrent yeast infection
can build up to these drugs after just a few uses, making them ineffective.
We all have yeast in our body in some small amount. If our immune
system is weakened, maybe by an illness, then all of the good bacteria
that keeps the yeast stable in our body is reduced. Once this happens,
the yeast takes over and we experience a yeast infection. Do you ever
wonder why so many women experience a yeast infection right before or just after their
natural cycle? More than likely it's because their immune system has been
weakened. What can we do to stop this never ending circle?
Well, we can always eat healthier and get more sleep when we know we are vulnerable.
Perhaps take an organic supplemental immune
booster. These will help for sure. There are also a lot of natural treatments
to help with recurrent yeast infections that go directly to the cause and
prevent this cycle from happening. Remove the cause, and
then the effect, or yeast infection, is halted right then and there. The big
benefit of a natural remedy is there are no dangerous side effects like you
have with prescription drugs or drug store brews, and taking the safe road
is something we can all feel better about.

Recurrent Yeast Infections and The Probiotic Secret
The Best Way to Use a Probiotic to Help Prevent Recurrent Yeast Infections
Hethir the herbalist talked about probiotics in her video and recommends using them as
part of her natural treatment. But, probiotics are so important in treating
recurrent yeast infections, there needs to be a more detailed explanation.
It's a well known fact that good bacteria, and bad bacteria, as well as fungi
should coexist in a delicately balanced state in the intestines. Many recurrent yeast infections
originate in the intestines and then spread through the body resulting in thrush,
vaginal Candida, skin rashes and yeast infection bumps.
So, it's very important not to disrupt this balance. But, when we
have a poor diet, drink regular tap water, get stressed out, or something happens
that disturbs this balance, you are just begging for an overgrowth of yeast to
attack your system on a recurring basis. Even the flu virus or the common cold can upset this
balance and make you more susceptible to a yeast infection.
The following video is by Suzy Cohen, she talks about this delicate balance
and what we can do to prevent many recurrent yeast infections. Keep in mind she is a
pharmacist and she does mention Monistat and Vagisil. However, watch how quickly she
glosses over this part of the video. Her passion is really with the natural
herbs and supplements she recommends…oh, and her fish.
Well, just watch the video and you'll see what I mean.
That's some good information. Didn't Suzy do a nice job in that video? Got to love her fish!
And did you happen to pay attention to what she said about yogurt? Pretty gross, huh?
Also, it should be noted that it's a good idea to take probiotics anytime you have a yeast
infection... not just when you're on antibiotics. In fact, here at Go Women's
Health we take probiotics as part of our daily intake of supplements, and you should too.
Remember, cure the yeast infection first with a natural remedy, then use probiotics as a
preventative measure. And as Suzy mentioned, you need a special Candida probiotic for
this to really work.
First, look for a probiotic that contains at least 40% Lactobacillus acidophilus.
That bacterial strain is most important when preventing recurrent yeast infections.
Next, look for the following bacterial strains: Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Streptococcus
thermophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Bifidobacterium longum, Bifidobacterium bifidum,
Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactobacillus salivarius.
We know those are difficult words to pronounce. So, let's make this easy for you.
We take Udo's Choice Super-8 High Potency probiotic. It has all 8 of the above strains.
Udo's can be purchased at Whole Foods market. What we like about Whole Foods market is the probiotic
is chilled on the shelf. This keeps more of the bacterial strains alive and
that's what you want. Always store your probiotics in the refrigerator.
And we're sure most health food stores carry a similar probiotic
if you don't live near a Whole Foods market or can't find Udo's.
So, there you have it. Probiotics are one of the best secrets going to help
prevent recurrent yeast infections. Be sure to add a Candida probiotic to your
daily intake of supplements. You'll be glad you did!
